Job Description: Strategic Technology Partners LLC (www.stpfederal.com) has an opportunity for a DevSecOps Engineer who will be helping leverage the clients robust DevSecOps practices into our project’s development and operations lifecycle.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Utilize customer’s existing CI/CD pipeline automated processes and procedures including security scans, policy enforcement, and compliance checks to support project cloud deployment activities.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Engineering, and Security teams to design and implement secure infrastructure and application solutions.
  • Define and implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) security policies.
  • Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability management across cloud and containerized environments (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Maintain and evolve tooling for static analysis (SAST), dynamic analysis (DAST), container security, and secrets management.
  • Respond to security incidents and conduct root cause analysis to strengthen future defenses.
  • Promote DevSecOps best practices, conduct training sessions, and champion a “security-first” mindset within engineering teams.
  • Must have experience DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Security Engineering with a focus on automation and secure SDLC.
  • Must have strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.) and cloud platforms (AWS).
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education Requirement: A bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering or related field preferred

Location: The position is remote with occasional visits to the federal office for administrative matters.
